What this page covers
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Besides cookies, we keep some information in your browser's local storage and IndexedDB. This page lists what we store and why. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data overall.
Needed for the site to work
A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in. A language cookie and a theme setting remember your choices. A random device identifier, kept in a cookie and in local storage, helps us stop abuse of sign-ups and free credits.
These can't be switched off on the site. Blocking them in your browser signs you out or resets your preferences.
Stored only on your device
When you sign in or go to checkout, the photo you picked is kept in your browser (IndexedDB) so it's still there when you come back, and it's cleared once it's used. We also remember a checkout in progress so we can confirm it when you return, and small preferences.
This information stays in your browser and isn't used for advertising.
Analytics
If analytics is enabled, we use it to count visits and see which pages and steps work; the analytics provider may set its own cookies, such as Google Analytics' _ga. We also keep, in local storage, the page that first brought you here, so purchases can be credited to the right page.
Analytics never receives your photos or designs.
Payments
Checkout happens on our payment provider's pages. The provider sets its own cookies there to process the payment and prevent fraud; see its privacy policy for details.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics cookies doesn't change how the site works. Blocking the sign-in cookie signs you out.
